The Farmers Accountant is focused on the needs of agricultural businesses. Over the life-cycle of the farming business, there are many issues that need to be addressed - structuring of your business, book-keeping issues, GST, Financial Statements and taxation, buying and selling of capital assets, Single Touch Payroll, Saving for your Retirement etc - the list is large.
We provide professional accountancy services that are specific to the primary producer because the problems faced in this industry are often different to other industries.
Having spent over 30 years in the profession, we have assisted in addressing many of the accountancy related problems faced by farmers - and hope that we may be able to assist you with the issues you are facing as well.
Very few firms in Australia specialise in agriculture, so that is what we have done – making agriculture front and centre of what we do. What this means for you is that you can talk to people who understand the issues you are facing and can give some meaningful input to your operations.
